My work compadre Kristine came by yesterday to share this website called Artsonia. In short you can upload the tons of artwork laying on your floor (that you never got around to framing and hanging up) at home or take pictures of it while you are perusing the halls at school. Once uploaded, you can do all sorts of things with the artwork like make canvases, books, mugs, t-shirts, etc. You can include their school name as well as the child's name.
Its so easy and you now have the best sorted cataloged images of your little artists saved digitally (ex. Maya, Little pumpkin, Kindergarten). No more worries that someone stepped on it or spilled something on it (can't just be my house) because its forever saved online for you to make a reprint. They also have cool things like Artist of the Week, contests for kids /teachers. Its genius I tell ya!
Anyhoo, thanks Kristine for this little nugget of information and thanks to her daughter Annie for this amazing pumpkin drawing above (and newly added to Artsonia). Can't wait to get started.
